My name is Keith Hessel, and I am the founder of Serve Business Consulting LLC. I started ServeBC in 2021 after most of the major restrictions surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic had been lifted with the intent of helping businesses and non-profits around the Colorado Springs area bring back and exceed the level of customer service and employee satisfaction they had before the pandemic began.

I have been in customer service of one kind or another for almost 20 years. In that time, I have worked in customer retention, sales, general customer service (including retail and food service), management, volunteer recruitment, and volunteer management to name just a few. I have helped non-profits increase their volunteer and donor bases, I have walked companies through setting up SOPs to ensure customer and employee retention, and I have helped businesses start up entire departments dedicated to improving customer experience and retention.

I understand firsthand the pain and challenges that come with disruptions, especially when you're unprepared. That's why I've dedicated my work to helping specialty coffee shops and roasters build resilient businesses through contingency planning and emergency readiness, ensuring you can thrive with stability and peace of mind. 

My mission is to use my expertise and passion to make a lasting impact on the coffee industry, and I'm always eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share this vision of success. 

I grew up on Long Island, spent several years living in Germany, and called the Midwest home for two decades. I'm a proud mom of three grown kids, with two wonderful daughters-in-law and two adorable granddaughters. The beach has always been my happy place, thanks to summers spent on the shores of Long Island and love to travel.
